Caitlin was first introduced to Signing Time while in high school and working as a daycare assistant. After graduating with an associates degree in early childhood education, she worked as a teacher and home visitor for Head Start. Intrigued by how quickly children picked up on the little sign lanuage she remembered, Caitlin began incorporating Signing Time’s curriculum into her classroom and encouraged parents to carry it into their homes as much as possible. She loved seeing how each child gravitated toward specific aspects of sign language, and used various signs to better communicate and learn new skills. Caitlin continued to use the curriculum during the two years she spent directing a daycare, and introduced Signing Time to multiple families and staff members. She and her husband began signing with both their children since infancy, and love all that it offers for fun, learning, and increased communication. Currently a (mostly) stay at home mom to two young children, Caitlin seeks to continue to expand her knowledge and share how Signing Time can make a difference for every family.
